The "grey phase" Gyrfalcon first seen on Saturday is still being seen in the
Union Springs area, though sightings are very sporadic. It was seen again
yesterday from Farley's Point (private) just south of Union Springs, near
the ice edge. The Barrow's Goldeneye was also present with a large flock
of Common Goldeneye. A out of season Chipping Sparrow has been visiting a
private residence feeder and a Swamp Sparrow continues at the Lab of
Ornithology feeders.
That's it for now,
Cheers and good birding
