The following is a collection of images of a Mew Gull
taken on Winthrop Beach in Winthrop, Massachusetts
on Tuesday, February 10, 1998.

The gull has been seen regularly on Winthrop Beach
3 hours after high tide to low tide (tide est. from NOAA)
and roosting at Lewis Lake at other times.
Both of these locations are within a mile of
each other in Winthrop.

Comparison

Mew Gull has a rounder head, a larger (dark) eye,
and a smaller bill making it a "cuter" looking gull.
