This afternoon there was an imm. BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE at the mouth of
Soquel Creek, without many other birds on the beach. I heard a BULLOCK'S
ORIOLE chattering in the eucalyptus trees toward the end of Escalona St. I
only got a glimpse of it flying between tree crowns, and it appeared to be a
female. A NUTTALL'S WOODPECKER was at Noble Gulch, rare for Capitola.
