Weather:
Starting with SSW winds at 6mph, very humid and temps in the mid-80Fs; then
a very strong squall line, but the sky clearing in early afternoon and a
return to pre-frontal conditions.
Raptor Observations:
Non-raptor Observations:
Through June to-date, small numbers of Red-winged Blackbirds and Common
Grackles continue to move by [8 & 17, respectively today]. Blue Jays [9],
Cedar Waxwings [35] and Baltimore Orioles [9] winding down?
Highlights today: 2 Orchard Orioles and a Laughing Gull [flybys]. Just
ahead of the horizontal rain, 3 Sandhill Cranes literally fell out of a
black sky and landed.
