Total observation time: 5.5 hours
Official Counter: Sue Ricciardi
Observers: Bill Hubick
Weather:
Sunny, becoming partly cloudy; 62-71 degrees; good to excellent visibility;
winds from the NW or NNW, 8-10 mph, gusting to 22 mph; just a gorgeous
weather day
Raptor Observations:
Non-raptor Observations:
21 Common Nighthawks in view at one time about 1:15 pm EDT. A second-year
Bald Eagle and an Osprey have a serious discussion about the fish that the
Osprey is carrying. Each species seems to make serious points to the other
cocerning ownership of the fish. The Osprey wins the debate and keeps his
meal.
