Raptor Observations:
First off, a correction: in my 5/10 post, i stated that i observed the
Swallow-tailed Kite at 5:05pm Maine time. The correct Maine/Eastern time
was 4:05pm. Sorry for the confusion.
Now for 5/11: last Bird counted was an adult male Northern Harrier. What
an awesome Bird!
Three more immature Bald Eagles moving North - including a point-blank
look at a Basic II Bird. Excellent!
Non-raptor Observations:
Nice Warbler activity around Site.

peregrine falcon, some ospreys and a lone broadwing. Two local bald eagles
disappeared to the southwest, directly through the area proposed for
another wind turbine project.
Non-raptor Observations:
Berk and Jill Adams helped with the count. Where was Tom for the record
turkey vulture count? Our total number of turkey vultures for 2008
surpassed the previous record of 12,091 TV's set in 2006. Our eight birds
today gave us 12,092 TV's for the year. On to greater heights this week?

Tomorrow is here (we're late entering) and its cold, damp and not very
promising.
